2nd EaPConnect cybersecurity workshop – postponed to September
Registration is open for a cybersecurity workshop that will share experiences and best practices and highlight relevant activities in ongoing projects. Organised by the EU-funded EaPConnect (Eastern Partnership Connect) project, the event is open to both EaPConnect partners and other interested parties. The event will be held in Tbilisi, Georgia, on 2-3 September 2020 (dates to be confirmed nearer the time, postponed from 22-23 April 2020).
This event is the second cybersecurity workshop to be organised by EaPConnect and will build on the success of the first by taking a more technical approach. Experts from EU and EaP countries will share their experience and best practices and invite discussion to explore the topics and opportunities in more depth. The workshop will introduce people and activities from the EU-funded projects CyberSec4Europe, Concordia and GN4-3, the current GÉANT project.
Discussions will centre on what is needed for the EaP region (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine) and how people from EaP organisations could get more involved in European research and development in cybersecurity. However, there is plenty of scope for interest to other participants from outside these countries.
This workshop is open for people with a relevant technical background. EaPConnect project partners can request funding support to attend the event; other interested parties are welcome but would need to cover their own costs.
